Call for Sculptural Artists. Faith Lutheran Church in Seattle seeks artist to create a site-specific sculptural artwork on a sanctuary wall in its church building. The intention of this artwork is to honor the baptized and those who have died - all the saints - of Faith Lutheran Church. Volunteer Illustrator Needed for Local Nonprofit. Global Team for Local Initiatives works with the endangered Hamar tribe of Ethiopia, teaching them skills that will enable the tribe to become self-sustaining. They are looking for an illustrator to do simple but realistic line drawings showing how to wash hands, prepare cereal, and perform other hygiene-related activities. Reference photos to work from. Bainbridge Arts and Crafts Call for New Artists. Bainbridge Arts and Crafts, a 60-year-old nonprofit gallery and arts organization, holds open juries for artists who interested in showing and selling their work in the BAC Gallery. Holiday Folk Musicians Sought. Seattle Center Winterfest in December is hosting outdoor, sing-a-long nighttime campfire over four different nights. Celluloid Bainbridge 2009 Call for Entries.
Festival date TBA (February or March 2009). All entries must be either

Filmaka.com stages
monthly short film competitions that give filmmakers the chance to win
prizes, showcase their work, develop skills and find an audience.
Compete at the entry (peer judged) and jury levels to win cash prizes
and funding for climbing the ladder in this competition. The top three
winners in each month's jury level competition are eligible for the
year-long contest to win funding for a feature film. At the end of the
year, these filmmakers are asked to complete one more film and submit a
screenplay or treatment. First prize is a feature film deal; the

Sustainability Stories Project: A Sustainable Bainbridge Community

Celluloid Bainbridge Filmmakers Finishing Fund, administered by the
Bainbridge Island Arts & Humanities Council, assists local
